One morning, I went out early to try and photograph a kingfisher… It was really cold, and I ended up having no luck finding or photographing any. But as I was walking home, I noticed these pied wagtails flying up trying to catch some flies, so I laid down on the wet grass hoping to make it worth it by capturing these wonderful little birds in flight… When I looked at the shots afterward, I realised I had caught one with a fly right near its beak, hoping to get a quick snack.
